BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – SOLAR PRODUCTS
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is a well-established engineering and electrical solutions organization with a strong footprint across East and Central Africa. With decades of industry experience, the organization delivers end-to-end electrical, power, and renewable energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The seek to engage the services of a Business Development Officer to drive sales growth of solar and renewable energy products while developing strong commercial and client engagement skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for solar products
- Conduct market research and client prospecting
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales presentations
- Support negotiations and closing of sales deals
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Track sales performance and prepare activity reports
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- 2–4 years experience in sales or business development (solar/energy sector preferred)
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Understanding of solar and renewable energy solutions
- Results-oriented and target-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Salary KSh40,000 per month
