BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – SOLAR PRODUCTS

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is a well-established engineering and electrical solutions organization with a strong footprint across East and Central Africa. With decades of industry experience, the organization delivers end-to-end electrical, power, and renewable energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The seek to engage the services of a Business Development Officer to drive sales growth of solar and renewable energy products while developing strong commercial and client engagement skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for solar products
  • Conduct market research and client prospecting
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales presentations
  • Support negotiations and closing of sales deals
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Track sales performance and prepare activity reports

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • 2–4 years experience in sales or business development (solar/energy sector preferred)
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of solar and renewable energy solutions
  • Results-oriented and target-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

 

Salary KSh40,000 per month
