Role Overview

As a Financial Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding leadership with accurate financial insights. You’ll analyze sales and cost data, build financial models, and deliver actionable reports—all to empower data-driven decisions across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze historical and current financial data to identify trends and performance gaps. 

• Build financial models and forecasts related to sales, margins, costs, and inventory. 

• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership with clear financial insights. 

• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and marketing to align data-driven insights with business planning and strategy.

• Support budgeting and variance analysis—comparing forecasts to actuals and explaining deviations. 

• Ensure data integrity via quality checks and assist internal audits or reconciliations when required. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

• 1–3 years in financial analysis or data analytics (retail, FMCG, or tech preferred).

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, forecasting). 

• Experience with SQL or financial ERP systems (ACO, Tally, etc.) is a plus.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. 

• Solid written and verbal communication for presenting data insights.
