SALES MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW

To drive business growth for the dialysis and oncology center by increasing sales from insurance clients and laboratory services. The role will focus on building strong relationships with insurance companies, healthcare providers, corporates, and individual clients to grow patient numbers and laboratory test volumes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for insurance and laboratory services.
  • Market the center’s lab services to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and corporate organizations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with insurance companies for coverage and referrals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance company representatives, medical practitioners, and corporate clients.
  • Provide regular follow-ups to key accounts to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly.

3. Marketing & Promotion

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns targeting insurance companies, clinics, and corporate wellness programs.
  • Represent the center at medical conferences, health fairs, and networking events.
  • Support digital and offline marketing efforts for lab services.

4. Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports for management.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Provide feedback on product/service improvements based on customer insights.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or diagnostics.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network within the insurance or medical sector is an added advantage.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of medical insurance processes and laboratory services.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

  • Growth in lab sales revenue.
  • Increase in patient numbers from insurance referrals.
  • Number of new corporate and insurance partnerships signed.
  • Client satisfaction and retention rates.
